That’s right, I’m holding a contest!!!!

Ok here it is:

THEME:
I need artwork for my book and since I watch some pretty darn amazing artists I thought I would hold a contest for the artwork. If I ever get published (which I highly doubt will happen soon) and use the artwork, fear not! You shall get credit galore! But please allow me to use my winning choices for non published use, with credit to you of course

RULES:
The medium can be what ever you like, photo manipulation is welcome, but no photography please.
Use one of the four offered templates.

HOW TO WIN:
I will judge on accuracy to the description and template as well as artist originality You need to show both to win.

PRIZES:
First Place: Three month subby (because I can’t afford a year )
Second Place: One month subby
Third Place: A piece of gift art from me, Della
All winners will also receive a lengthy feature in my journal and a feature in ‘s journal.

TEMPLATE:
There are four templates, one of which you must follow. Take your pick!

1) SHAPESHIFTERS: Template One
Two people of average height leaning back to back against each other, their shoulders the only part touching. Their heads are turned slightly towards the viewer (of the picture) and are as follows: one is a man, pale skinned, has golden eyes, lanky, scraggily, shoulder length black hair. His clothes are simple (breaches, tunic, lace up boots and vest) NO SWORD or knife. The other is a woman also with black hair. Hers is longer and coarse (she’s Indian (India NOT from the western United States)) and her eyes are deep brown. She is dressed same way as the man, but she DOES have a sword (curved blade) and a sash about her waist. Both are about twenty five.

2) MAGE: Template Two
He stands (or crouches, your pick) alone. He has white robes, blonde curly hair, intelligent eyes, your pick what color. He is sixteen and his face is intense, concentrated. Magic (think Edward Elric alchemy and no, I came up this first before I saw the show ) is blazing about his hands. Once again, pick your color of the magic.

3) FRIENDS: Template 3
This depicts a griffin and a girl standing together, smiling out at the viewer almost like a photograph. Griffin is sandy colored, male, has wings, and taller than the girl by a good amount. Girl is also Indian (India) and had her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She had a sword (curved) at her waist with an amber pommel (top part of sword), bow on her back (optional) and a double-headed glaive (bladed staff). She can lean on either the griffin or the staff, that’s up to you. She is wearing breeches and tunic, etc.

4) TOGETHER: Template 4
This is really the free option one Two people and you can pick the pose. One is a man, 21, with a sword (straight blade, European style) and gloves ON. Really important feature. Tunic, vest (optional), breaches, boots, wrist guards. He has brown hair, blue eyes and a laughing face and is Caucasian. His companion is a woman (20) with long brown curly hair, amber eyes, short sword (curved or straight, your choice). Her skin is SLIGHTLY darker than his, think a nice honey tan. She can wear a dress or breeches (it might be better to use breeches in this case because she has a sword ) your choice. Any pose you like, but do keep in mind they are MARRIED so you can make it romantic Also, for the girl, you can make the fingertips on her right hand deep purple (frost bite incident) if you like, it is totally up to you.
